Gold Coast, Australia

During 22-27 May 2007, we went to Gold Coast, Australia. There were 7 members, including P.Ou’s Mom, my Mom, P.Oy, P.Oam. P.Ou, Noon, and I. We drove from Brisbane to stay in an apartment at Kirra Beach. We did not do anything much, relaxation was the main theme of this trip. However, we went to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary which we met kangaroos, koalas, and many Australian animal. The most appreciated event was the wild bird "Lorikeets" feeding which lot of birds ate food from my hands. We went to Sea World; Dolphin show was very impressive so as that I had to buy a dolphin doll. There was nothing to do at night except casino so we went there one night to play slot machine, it was fun but I was not that lucky in gamble. We also went to the beach, from the apartment it took about 10-minute walk, the water was cold and I think it is suitable for surfing, not swimming, that’s why the main beach is called surfer paradise.

Being with kangaroo, it is told to stay clam in front of them otherwise it can jump, kick or knock you out.

My Mom enjoyed Lorikeet feeding, didn't she?

Koala always sits in a tree. A koala has a slow-paced life. About 14.5 hours of its day are spent sleeping, with another 4.8 hours resting. Foraging requires another 4.7 hours, leaving only four minutes per day for travel!

We were at Sea World, wheelchair is provided.
